Admission Notice 2025

  • Online Application Period: Starts 23rd August 2025 at 11:00 AM through www.gcect.ac.in
  • Last Date for Application & Fee Submission: 12th August 2026, up to 3:00 PM
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational
    • Minimum 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST candidates)
    • Must have passed both theory and practical in all subjects
    • Valid WBJEE rank and domicile certificate from West Bengal
    • Provisional admission from WBJEE
  • Payment: Fees to be paid via SB Collect or UPI. Payment screenshot print out must be submitted during document verification.
  • Anti-Ragging Affidavit: Must be submitted online at https://antiragging.in and a hard copy must be submitted during document verification.
  • Documents for Physical Verification:
    • Signed application form
    • Original WBJEE provisional admission letter
    • Original WBJEE admit card & rank card
    • Original domicile certificate (WBJEEB proforma)
    • Original age verification certificate (birth cert or Madhyamik admit card)
    • Original 10th & 12th mark sheets
    • Cast/disability certificate (if applicable)
    • Payment screenshot print out
    • Income certificate (for TFW candidates)
    • Medical fitness & eyesight certificate
    • Character certificate from last attended school
    • Two passport-sized colour photos
    • Photocopies of all documents (self-attested)
  • Important: No other mode of application will be entertained.
  • Incase of manual registration, email for account confirmation will be sent after registration. If not received, reach out at gcectwb@gmail.com. Candidate can login only after account confirmation.
  • Incase of registration using Aadhaar QR code, email ID is verified against email ID in Aadhaar and candidate is allowed to proceed only if it matches.

Terms and Conditions

  • Attendance: Class attendance below 75% in any semester will render you disqualified for end-semester exams.
  • No Relaxation: You will not be allowed to request any relaxation or exemption on attendance.
  • Anti-Ragging: You commit not to participate in ragging and will immediately inform authorities if any incident occurs.
  • No Side Jobs: You will not take up any employment or business during college class hours.
  • No Coaching: You will not attend coaching centers, private tuition, or training institutes during class hours.
  • Notice Compliance: You agree to regularly check college notices on the website or notice board.

Final Notice

  • Go to Student Login to update payment and upload photo & signature to complete your application.
  • You will receive an Email with Email account confirmation link if you opt for manual registration
  • If Email does not reach your mailbox, reach out to college authorities
  • You agree to abide by all decisions made by the college authorities.
